Individual psychotherapy
Real therapy, about your whole life.
What it's like
Fewer platitudes. Better questions.
In early sessions, we orient: what brought you now, what you've already tried, what you'd like to be different. After that, the work follows the material—this week's events, longer-running patterns, the people involved, and what happens in you under pressure.
I pay attention to symptoms, and they generally ease. But I find that durable change tends to come from understanding what produces them, testing something different in real life, and looking honestly at how that went.
You don't have to arrive organized, or with a clear account of what's wrong. Bringing the vague version is a perfectly good start.
What I work on
Work, relationships, and everything they touch.
Inside
Anxiety and overthinking. Perfectionism and the standards that stopped being useful. ADHD, executive functioning, and emotional regulation. Trauma and difficult past experiences. Burnout and chronic overwhelm.
Between
Relationships and family dynamics. Boundaries, conflict, and interpersonal patterns that repeat. Leadership stress and the demands of being responsible for other people. Weighing a promotion, leading organizational change, considering a pivot. Identity and major transitions.
A clear distinction
I provide psychotherapy—a clinical service from a licensed psychologist—not executive coaching in different packaging.
